Mike Bradley, Business Development Manager at TAG Catering Equipment has successfully completed the 2021 London Marathon in a personal best time of 04:48:04 with the aim of raising £2,500 for the Guide Dogs charity!
Following the cancellation of the 2020 event, Mike was able to run the marathon this year “for real” on 3rd October, completing the famous 26.2-mile route around London in record time.
Despite being nauseous afterwards and suffering from sore feet, Mike has described his finish time of 4-hours and 48-minutes as his “best so far”, hoping to take on yet more running challenges.
As an avid runner, coach for Saffron Striders and trained guide runner for the visually impaired, Mike is hoping to raise £2,500 for the Guide Dogs charity, which has a special place in his heart, after his mum lost her sight when he was just 8-years old. At the time of writing, he’s raised £1,839, nearly 75% of the overall target.
By raising £2,500 it will take the local branch fundraising of the Guide Dogs to over £60,000 which is a whole life cycle of a guide dog.
Mike would be grateful if you could help him hit his fundraising target by donating what you can spare via his JustGiving page: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/michael-bradley38
