TAG Catering Equipment UK Ltd are delighted to announce that we are double finalists at the Catering Insight Awards 2019, in the Distributor of the Year South of the UK and Project Management categories.
The annual Catering Insight Awards celebrate the best in class and excellence in the catering equipment industry, including suppliers and distributors. Following the submission of nominations and shortlist from the Catering Insight judges, winners are chosen by senior executives from within the industry. Supplier executives vote on the distributor categories and distributors vote on the supplier categories. Voting closes on Friday 15th November.
Winners will be announced at the prestigious gala ceremony on Thursday 28th November at the Banking Hall, London. The ceremony is a highlight of the catering equipment calendar and is set to celebrate the very best in the industry.

Distributor of the Year – South of the UK
This category will honour an outstanding dealer in the south of England or across Wales. With such a broad region, there is close competition as to who has excelled as a business or overcome challenges to design and install incredible commercial kitchens.
Our entry highlighted a recent achievement to complete a project for a major, luxury 5-star hotel in London creating an ultra-efficient kitchen of the future, as well as moving our office to Stevenage to help reduce our carbon footprint and taking on 4 apprentices to invest in future talent.
Distributor of the Year – Project Management
This category recognises distributors that stand out for delivering very special projects.
Over the last twelve months, TAG has taken on both a larger number of projects and larger-scale projects, thanks in part to increasing the project management team by 100%. Our meticulous planning ability has enabled us to deliver increasingly complex and time-sensitive projects, including installing a servery within a 30-minute window during a conference.
Our fingers are crossed for the gala ceremony on 28th November. We’d like to take the opportunity to thank all of the team, our trusted suppliers and supply chain for helping us achieve the finalist nominations.
